The Making of 2001: A Space Odyssey

Co-Editor with Martin Scorsese for Random House
In 2001 Martin Scorsese chose me out of a lot of much fancier people to collaborate with him on this book. I think it was my love for Kubrick that sealed the deal. That, and the fact that I knew all about the guys who Production designed the film as I’d learned about them while being an AP on a NASA doc for ABC News back in the day. It’s not that related to film and tv making, but when you get to work with Martin Scorsese, you put it on your resume.
Here's one review:
"The Making of 2001: A Space Odyssey consists of testimony from Kubrick's collaborators and commentary from critics and historians. This is the most complete book on the film to date--from Stanley Kubrick's first meeting with screenwriter Arthur C. Clarke to Kubrick's exhaustive research to the actual shooting and release of the movie."
